Books and video games are both crucial and worth immersing yourself into. I’m an avid reader as well as gamer (reader first), so I will say with the utmost detail that your experiences do NOT dictate the importance of both mediums because of your lack of imagination. Especially when your game examples only scratch the surface with titles from FPS and MMO genres (which are both ironically and incredibly social communities, much to your account). Unfortunately, you haven’t grasped the medium enough if you haven’t experienced game stories like Silent Hill, This War of Mine, Last of Us, Detroit Become Human, Shadow of the Colossus, etc.

I believe you are correct, even though I’m just a kid I agree with you. I love to read books its the best thing to do if you don’t have electronic’s, including me, I’ve had my electronic’s taken away for two year’s, its crazy right?
